Hanna Heights Website Adds Progress Photos (21. July 2006, 14:52 by Derek Young) ~

Hanna Heights at 6th and Fawcett, one of the ubiquitous Prium projects in town and, apparently where kids play the cello, has added a construction progress page to its website. So, for all of you condo watchers that just can’t get enough on Exit133 and want more photos, you can now hit refresh and watch the siding siding go up.

That’s great. Now we never need to leave our computers to see Tacoma revitalized.

Here’s the construction page for Chelsea Heights

I have been very impressed by Prium. The way they work, their speed, and their interest in Tacoma. If only every developer would work the way they do.

Oh and they were chosen for the MLK JR Way project.

Prium does seem to working away and making good progress on their projects (Hanna Heights and Chelsea Heights) unlike some other developers in Tacoma.

I am also impressed that the buildings are mixed use with retail on the first floor and housing above. That model is pretty good for adding life to an area.

The latest test for Prium will be if they can start Jay Heights on time. They have been advertising that they will start in July of 2006. Nice days left.

Prium definately is sprucing things up around here. and the coolest thing about them is they are a Tacoma company.

I have a feeling if and when Jay Heights gets built and if it sales well we will see a big change in buildings that start popping up around Downtown Tacoma. Maybe we can say goodbye to 5 story land wasting, suburb style buildings in downtown!

I agree. The construction of Jay Heights will be a turning point for downtown. Most of the condos being built are actually far north on Broadway in Stadium, on the water or above UWT.

Few are bring built in the downtown core near Pacific.

It takes a huge number of condos built to actually add much activity to an area.

I hope some of the projects that have been approved can start soon.
