The first fifty people to respond to the Exit133 live/work survey are now on the map. I’m not going to tell you the significance of what it shows at this point. Simply click on the link, zoom in, zoom out, and move around the city. It is intriguing. Your responses were great. More analysis to come. In the meantime…

Interesting.
It would be fun to go for some more unique relationships using these pin points as the base line such as average proximity to pizza or bus stops or how ‘bout non-Starbucks coffee houses with WI-FI but no Chai tea. Maybe there are other unique qualifiers that unite Tacomans (and Tacowomens)

Here’s some more work for you, Derek: Draw a path between each related home and work so we can see where individuals are coming from and going to and how far.
Very fun to look at otherwise. I know at least one of the points near me (M. Höffner I’m looking at you!)
Cheers!

Wow. I didn’t realize there were so many readers of Exit 133. And the icons are only the ones who sent in information.
I get a sense that Tacoma is about to turn a corner.

Wow. I didn’t realize there were so many readers of Exit 133.
... this week we’re trending around 450 unique visitors (by IP – a bit inexact) per day with page counts in the several thousands. This is after rss readers, crawlers, and robots have been filtered out of the logs. Shhh… don’t tell anyone. So, if six of you are commenting on a regular basis, that means there are a lot of lurkers out there. Hello, everybody!
