Ruston’s Asarco property, with its seventy years of industrial goodness, may be a few steps closer toward redevelopment. A deal was announced today between the federal government, Asarco, and the developer, Point Ruston LLC, that would clean up the site and bring a mixed use project to the area. Now we can get a few more $million condos in town… You know, all I really want is a way to bike from Ruston Way to Point Defiance without going through that tunnel. Let’s clean up enough so that we can get a bike path for crying out loud.

I hope they make this an area that people want to come to, not just for the residents that live there. Maybe a village type of development not just view condos everywhere.
Also, I heard a while back that the tunnel will be taken out.
