Animalocity Puts Pets On Parade August 26th (17. August 2006, 06:29 by Derek Young) ~ Tacoma's Summer Activiites Continue

Do you like Tacoma? Do you love your pets? Maybe you missed Showcase Tacoma or Third Thursday and still haven’t been downtown lately. Animalocity is next weekend and it is another opportunity for you to see what is going on downtown . Rec’d via email:

Animalocity is a fun family-oriented event taking place in the Theater District of Tacoma on Opera Alley (between 7th & 9th and St Helens & Broadway) on Saturday August 26. There will be an Artisan Market from 10 to 5, a costumed pet parade at 3:00, and a pet bed auction immediately following the parade. All proceeds benefit the Dugan Foundation and Rwanda Relief. We’d like to see lots of people enter our parade – it’s loads of fun, and the pets (from dogs & cats to alpacas & boa constrictors) really take this time to shine seriously!
