Makeovers for Poodle Dog & Other SSRG Restaurants
The Poodle Dog is getting a makeover.
So are the other restaurants owned and operated by the South Sound Restaurant Group. Sales are up, and SSRG is putting more than $1.6 million total towards renovations, according to the Business Examiner.
That means if you're a patron of the Poodle Dog, Knapp's, the Hob Nob, the Harvester, or Burs in Tacoma or the Powerhouse in Puyallup, you may notice some changes to decor.
The Poodle Dog will close for a few days, and reopen with a new bar, and a top to bottom remodel that will include new booths, floors, wall treatments, and lighting - all in a whole new color scheme.
The other restaurants will be getting smaller-scale makeovers, featuring the same new color scheme from the Poodle Dog, along with other changes.

New flooring, booths, and kitchen and bathroom facilities are on the list for several of the restaurants, and the Powerhouse deck will be enclosed and an atrium created.
The plan is for all this work to be completed by the end of the month. If they complete all that work by then, maybe they can come over and take a look at our kitchen next...
