Exit133 is about Tacoma

Odd Otter Opening

It looks like Odd Otter Brewing is finally opening. After a series of delays, they plan to open their doors to the public this weekend, according to an announcement on their Facebook page this week.

Tacoma, Washington, beer lovers, world: We. Have. Done it. And we couldn't have done it without help and support from so many of you.

From our Kickstarter backers to our friends, families, and all the new Otters we have met along the way, we have been encouraged and supported through this whole long, grueling process.

You have stood beside us through all the beer floods, the extension cord mazes, and minor floor-resurfacing snafus. Thank you, thank you for your patience, generosity, and support. We cannot wait to bring our beer-driven version of odd to add to our vibrant, growing community. ...

Come on down, keep it odd, and share the love. And the beer!

The announcement says they will open to the public for the first time this Saturday, November 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Then, starting next week, they will be open Fridays and Saturdays those same hours, with plans to expand those hours at some point.

So now while you're shopping locally for Small Business Saturday, you have another option for when you're ready to take a break to drink locally.
