Not sure if thurm knew this guy was a food reviewer because I would never tell anyone except for an enemy go to thrums I have had the unfortunate pleasure of trying his food 3 times and it was pretty bad meat under cooked, a layer of oil on Mac and cheese, we bought for 10 employees and the boss said don’t ever let him go there again. Just because your local doesn’t mean your good. A local treat for barbecue is out in gig harbor part of a gas station. Even dickey’s and famous Dave’s and warthog are bye far better place to enjoy BBQ. I do miss the man with the sauce. Porter rip

All of which proves that you don’t know squat about BBQ. I’m from North Carolina, where BBQ is a virtual religion. Your one addendum about “RIP Porter”, and that nasty battery acid of a “sauce” says all I need to hear: you’re a NW native who’s never really had any great BBQ. Famous Dave’s and Warthog would be CLOSED within a month in Texas, NC, TN, or anywhere that great barbecue is understood. As the bio on my site says, I was a professional chef for 30 years and have eaten literally all over the US and made BBQ in both NC and TN in my own restaurants. I miss Porter, too, but because he was a nice guy, NOT for “The Man”.

I disagree.  You are entitled to your opinion, but I have never known anyone else who shares that opinion.  Of course John Hathaway never had a good word to say about Thurm’s food, but that is because John and Thurm never got along in the first place.
