Annual Tourism Matters Mtg: General Session—Dynamic Plans to Leverage U.S. Open 2015

Come learn why tourism matters! This event is both informative and celebratory. The luncheon will feature an overview of what our tourism community has accomplished in 2013, and present strategies for future success. Your hosts for the event are Bennish Brown, CEO, and Dan O’Leary, Board Chair, of the Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB]. Hunter George, Communications Director for Pierce County will talk about the lead-up to the 2015 U.S. Open and we can leverage this tremendous opportunity for long-term benefit. This is a great networking event and includes representatives of hotels, restaurants, attractions, museums, theatres, event/meeting spaces, transportation companies, and elected officials. All are welcome to attend. The cost to attend is $55. To register, please go to www.tiny.cc/tourismmatters. This meeting is hosted by the Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau [TRCVB], your community non-profit that markets Tacoma and Pierce County as a destination to leisure travelers, meeting planners, and tour + travel agencies. The TRCVB partners with tourism-related businesses in Pierce County to market our assets as a destination.
