Experience the arts as an important part of daily life in the mid-1800s during “Arts of the Fur Trade” at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Saturday Nov. 2, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Interact with the Fort’s artisans as they showcase 19th century skills such as spinning, weaving, beading, blacksmithing, woodworking, open-fire cooking, and musical entertainment.
Located in Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum is a restoration of the Hudson’s Bay Company fur trade outpost on Puget Sound.
