Broadway Center presents: Indigo Girls

Join Grammy-winning folk-rock duo, Indigo Girls in an intimate concert. With a tour history spanning 25 years, their staunch dedication to a number of social and environmental causes, have earned the Indigo Girls a devoted following and the lasting respect of a multi-generational fans.

The duo began performing together in high school. Since then, they have a recording career that consists of fourteen studio albums, three live records, and three greatest hits compilations. Of these releases, seven reached gold status, four reach platinum and one hit the double platinum mark. Wherever the Indigo Girls’ creative journey may take them, they always hold out a hand to their listeners and we get to feel it all.

Opening Act: Lucy Wainwright Roche Lucy returns to the Pantages for the second time this season, after dazzling the crowd as the opening guest for her brother, Rufus Wainwright, in October of 2013. Lucy has been compared to Joni Mitchell and Patty Griffin by NPR.

Wainwright Roche was born in NYC into an influential musical family. She rebelled against the family business by teaching elementary school for several years before getting involved in music. Since 2007, Lucy has released two EPs and two studio albums entitled Lucy (2010) and There’s a Last Time for Everything (2013), toured the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and has performed with a number of musicians including Neko Case and Over the Rhine. Lucy is known for her crystal clear voice and straightforward, funny stage presence.
