Peninsula Metric 2014 or Gran Fondo

The Peninsula Metric Century (PMC) is a challenging ride through the scenic Kitsap Peninsula. Enjoy panoramic waterfront views, rural countryside, and lots of rolling hills. Choose from routes of 50k, 70k, 100k or 100m at two convenient start locations. Riders will enjoy a well-marked course with cue sheet and map, support vehicles, fully stocked rest stops, and dessert at the finish line.

The Gran Fondo will start from Southworth at 7am on the 100 mile course. (this is a timed event at extra cost)

There is ample free parking at each start location. In any case, we encourage you to cycle, carpool or use public transporation. The Tacoma start location (new) is at the Park & Ride across from the Narrows Theater. The Southworth location is served by Kitsap Transit and the Fauntleroy ferry.

Ride Support

Rest stops supplied with food, drink and sani-cans. Sag wagons will be driving the route for mechanically stranded riders. Course closes at 5pm. Final sweep by sag wagons begins at 4pm.
