Post Defiance Winter Reading

December 15, 2013 at 3:00 pm

Now in its second year, the Post Defiance team is delighted to once again celebrate the season with our Winder Reading tradition.

This living room event brings together friends and strangers to share original and published works celebrating the season (a little like a salon, a little like NPR’s Selected Shorts).

Thanks to our generous host, this year we have room for an audience of about 40 and a program of about 20 readings.

If you would like to attend and/or read at the event, please email Katy at katy.evans@postdefiance.com. Tell us the selection you’d like to read and we’ll do our best to accommodate all who wish to participate.

As you can see from our selection last year, the stories read aloud can range from the comedic, to the tragic, to the heartwarming, to the eerie; the only criteria is that each reading is between 1 and 5 minutes long and somehow includes the theme of winter.

Request an invitation by emailing Katy at katy.evans@postdefiance.com
