Seasonal View’s Information Security Assessors independently manage all phases of third party assessments for our clients including planning, execution and reporting. Assessors execute, oversee, guide and evaluate the work of other auditors culminating in a successful presentation of the results to Senior Leadership. Audits will primarily focus on areas of general controls, but could include applications, pre-implementation review, and complex areas of the business and technologies.

Summary of Duties and Requirements:

• Work in a consultative and assessor role evaluating key controls of IT architecture and helping to identify risks and risk management steps in each relevant phase.
• Serve as an influential and effective communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to communicate the scope and impact of identified risks and how they should be eliminated or managed.
• Possess the analytical ability to identify unmitigated risks and control weaknesses and the capacity to translate identified risks into meaningful recommendations and present such findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner in either technical or business terms.
• Possess Working knowledge of audit and IT related concepts, standards, and methodologies.
• Remain aware of changes in Information Technology, especially as to the potential impact on security; as well as the evolution of new threats and the means being developed to counter them.
• Possess working knowledge of relevant audit and security standards, such as ISO/IEC 27000 Information Security Standards, NIST 85 and PCIDSS.
• Must be able to maintain a positive influence through teaching, advising and mentoring.
• 5+ years’ experience in IT Audit or Data Security.
• Must be able to work independently with limited oversight.
• Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.

• This job is a contract position with the potential for full time employment within six to twelve months.
