Re: Temple of the Bean to rise again

These guys did a great job - with such a little space! And their "drip" is actually French press... mmmmmmm.

Cool logo too!

Now if they only had room to do grilled panini...

Re: Temple of the Bean to rise again

Here's my second coffee at Satellite Coffee ordered around noon today.

Pretty impressive.

The order was a "tall cappuccino half foam half milk with whole milk."

How many coffee shops in Taccoma could consistently produce something like this?  My guess is less than 5.  I don't think any of the chains could.

I still hear some baristas exclaiming that foam can't be made with whole milk or the coffee shop doesn't carry whole milk at all.

Re: Temple of the Bean to rise again

Thank you so much for opening a decent coffeehouse near my place. I want to be able to stumble out of bed, drag my ass down the street in my slippers and get a decent cup of espresso. As a fellow barista, I can't handle the Tully's monotony or the hole-in-the-wall (is this legit or not?) coffeeshops. And lord knows I'm not walking as far as Black Water to get a cup of joe.

Woo Hoo for the Stadium District! Woo Hoo for great coffee!
