The Tacoma City Council is looking to fill two vacant positions on the Human Rights Commission.
The Commission consists of 15 members serving three-year terms and is comprised of representatives from the general public as well as employer,labor, religious, racial, ethnic, handicapped, and women's groups in Tacoma.
The Commission studies, investigates and mediates community issues that may result from discrimination on the basis of race, religion, color,national origin or ancestry, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age,marital status, familial status, honorably discharged veteran or military status, or disability.
