Bates Technical College showcases programs, campus at Open House

The event features career programs through tours, information fair and activities

TACOMA, Wash. — Curious about Bates Technical College’s programs? You’re invited to explore at the college’s Open House on Thursday, May 5, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at South Campus, 2201 S. 78th St., in Tacoma.

The Open House features an information fair with representatives from student services, financial aid, Technical High School, the testing center, along with various faculty, who will share program information.


During the event, attendees can participate in interactive activities with several career education programs, like Fire Service, Welding, and aerospace programs. Those who wish to transfer into four-year institutions will have an opportunity to speak with representatives from University of Washington Tacoma, City University, and more.


The college’s food truck, Curbside Urban Cuisine, will be open for business during lunch time.
