Shaw House: A Tacoma architect’s home and idea lab could soon be a local historic landmark

The 113-year-old home of Tacoma architect Stanley T. Shaw is being considered for inclusion on the Tacoma Register of Historic places.

It's not a big piece of history, but sometimes it's the little stories, not the big ones that really give you a sense of place. Todd Matthews over at the Tacoma Daily Index wrote a nice piece on the home and the architect who built it, as well as some other buildings still standing around town.

Whether or not the home is included in the list, it's an enjoyable tour of a little corner of Tacoma's history.
