Fair Tradin’ - Tacoma’s Backyard Barter Community
Mission Statement & Goals
We are an affiliation of individuals and organizations that believe in supporting the growth of the local-food movement and community resilience. The development of a robust local network builds community and helps everyone to find food security. We encourage our neighbors to grow, process, and share their own food and crafts by providing venues for the bartering through online tools and public events.
To reach these goals, Fair Tradin' will first focus its efforts on establishing its presence in Tacoma and Pierce County by building a reliable community of bartering individuals. Along the way we are working to develop relationships with groups that can promote bartering and trading. |
